The First Thanksgiving

I woke up bright and early to start cooking the turkey and all of the sides. I made mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing, broccolli and cheese, greenbean casserole, and apple crisp for dessert. We had enough food to feed a whole village and our fridge remained full with leftovers all weekend. Making all that food took so much work and it only took us 20 minutes to eat. thank god the holiday only comes once a year.

Our beautiful Turkey! It took forever to cook, but eventually it can out perfect, all golden brown.
Even though our Thanksgiving was wonderful, we wish we could have shared it with our families.
