Central Oregon Brew Fest

Here is Keo double fisting two tasters. In the background is the band.
The Brew Fest was in the Les Schwab Amphitheater. The Brew Fest featured more than 60 craft and international beers from over 30 brewers. All of the proceeds went to Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Central Oregon. This event was designed to showcase the enjoyment of tasting a range of craft beers. For 5 dollars we got a 2006 souvenier mug and three tickets. Tickets were 1 dollar each. A four ounce taster was equal to one ticket, half a mug was 2 tickets and a full mug was 3 tickets. Some of our favorite beers were the Sierra Nevada's Summer Fest, Full Sail's Session, Roots Organic Brewery's Pilsner, Silver Moon Brewing Bridge Creek Pilsner, and Mcmenamins Firefly Kolsh. The Brew Fest was really fun because it allowed us to try multiple beers without having to drink a full mug. It was amazing how many different beers there are just in this area and how different they tasted.

Here I am in front of a row of beer tents.
